The Alan Fox Band, was picked as a 2005 first year national finalist at the Sonny Boy Blues Challenge, earning the right to perform at the King Biscuit Blues Festival. Alan takes hold of this musical project with his crew of top-notch musicians, showing his smooth guitar work and soulful vocals. With the non-traditional sounds of Jimi's acid-rock, to the traditional sounds of Muddy Waters, Alan and his band dish out music to satisfy your soul.
Alan Fox - Born in Seguin, TX, a 1995 SXSW blues guitarist. Alan went to Stephen F. Austin State University with his music scholarship where he made many friends. He moved to Bossier with Mike and performed with him. The choppers were all chromed out, the girls were all dressed up, and the crowd was large! It was a beautiful day at Strokers Ice House on 9304 Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas As the Alan Fox Band took the stage and quickly started to bring the attention of the 1500 people to the stage. The East Texas band played a selection of music that tastefully showed the on looking audience just how classic rock and blues is supposed to sound. “It’s hard to be calm when the band sounds picture perfect”, said one new fan of the Alan Fox band. I just have to say, “that just about sums it up!” The Alan Fox Band, from the edge of Texas, in Longview. Don’t miss them when they come back in town.
