A Duncanville High School graduate, Angela Blair received numerous first place awards for vocal competitions throughout her high school career. She is also a product of the Arts Magnet at Booker T. Washington School for the Performing Arts High School, which she attended during 9th and 10th grade.
Among her accomplishments, in the early '90s Angela was cast as an "Angel of Mercy" singer in the motion picture film Leap of Faith starring Steve Martin, Debra Winger and Liam Neeson. She has been under the musical direction of mega producers George Duke, Dan Carlin and Edwin Hawkins, and performed as the opening act for Jeffrey Osborne, Regina Belle and the Isley Brothers.
Angela's talent has been recognized on the national level, as she won the 2005 Kraft Gospel Talent Search. She has been featured in national advertisement and promotions that included prominent ads in Essence, Ebony, Today’s Black Woman, Family Digest, and Jet magazines. Angela keeps her live performance skills sharp as she performs regularly due to high demand.
