The band Ashmore firmly believes in combining music from each member's roots to make a unique sound that doesn't mirror the stereotypical bands of today.
The first time all members were actually brought together to play was for a gig at Fat Harry's. Headed by Josh Ingram, everyone loved to play music, but didn't think anything serious at the time. It did not take long after forming for the four members in the band to begin realizing the great talent and chemistry that was forming. However, Josh decided to go on his own, leaving the remaining three members (Mike Patterson, Dan Davis and Jason Lynch) to write all new material. After a year, a new lead guitarist (Rick Curcio) was added and the band as it stands today was complete. After the first rehearsal with Rick, a new sound was born and the next year would build a new band, Ashmore. In 2006 the group won the Have A Nice Gig contest in Fort Worth to open one show in Canada for Bon Jovi.
