Founded 2001, based in Fort Worth, TX
AC/DC cover band that plays the best material from the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras. Formed by Mike Mroz and Darren Caperna, the group has become a DFW favorite. They've even released a self-titled disc with six originals and two covers, "Back in Black" and "Money Honey."
Sony Music, AC/DC’s record label, recruited Back in Black to promote catalog sales. 20th Century Fox chose Back in Black over all other tribute bands to record AC/DC’s classics "A Long Way to the Top" and “TNT” for two movies.
Back in Black has shared the stage with Warrant, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Bad Company, Jackyl, Blue Oyster Cult, Grand Funk Railroad, Head East, Seven Mary Three, Cardboard Vampires, Living Colour and Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
