Baptist Generals

Founded 1998, based in Denton, TX
Originally The Poor Bastards, The Baptist Genrals have been at it for a long time, but good things seem to be on the horizon as they follow their well-regarded debut with one of 2006's most anticipated releases. The band goes for an intentionally lo-fi sound, and recorded its last album on pawn shop instruments.
From staff reports.
