Band History
Blue October worked their way through the Houston scene, eventually signing with Universal Records for their 2000 debut CD, Consent to Treatment,. But the label dropped the band in 2001 after lackluster sales. Blue October stuck with it, though, and have been playing to sold out shows throughout Texas and beyond.
The single "Calling You" from their third album, The History for Sale, was featured in the soundtrack for American Wedding and has been the group's largest mainstream success.
