Bobby Patterson is one of Dallas’ true blues legends. Patterson started his music career playing in Dallas competitions as a teenager in the 1950s. His talent as both a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist landed Patterson in the national eye as part of the legendary Abnack records. After Abnack records folded, he began work as a producer for other artists including Ted Taylor, Roscoe Robinson, and Little Johnny Taylor. Bobby Patterson’s music has been recorded by artists ranging from Albert King to Wilco.
