Bridges & Blinking Lights began life in Denton as a catharsis for singer/guitarist Jake Wilganowski. Friends contributed to the project and the seeds of the band's future sound took root. The self-titled EP soon appeared and in early 2005 the current lineup solidified. Intimately untethered vocals, silvery guitars, and an unyielding rhythm section fueled a steady stream of live performances that quickly fleshed out a few simple melodies into a heady cocktail of soulful southern twang and quirky indie-pop sensibility.
In early 2006, the quartet began work on what would eventually become "Standing On The Same Stick," a self-produced album released in late 2007. B&BL is working on several video projects for their music and planning the release of another EP in 2008.
