Carnal Circus
- Sound Description:
- "Punk and roll"
Founded 2003, based in Dallas, TX
Carnal Circus was conceived when some stagehands from Dallas decided to form a “sign of the times” rock band. Original members Paul Kulcsar, Dale Kendall and Robert Cortinas were already seasoned veterans of the Dallas music scene. Each had been involved in various other projects before forming Carnal Circus, ranging from rock to jazz to psychedelic to experimental and even metal. Each member of the band possesses a unique style that’s integral to the band's sound. A listener can sense a '60s or '70s garage feel overlapping a modern, angst-laden, rough riff machine. Carnal Circus' style of "punk-n-roll" music has propelled them to respectability.
