What do you get when you cross that crazy reggae/metal band featuring a slamming roots rock rhythm section with a smooth Rub-A-Dub crooner? Well, if you sprinkle in a nugget of mad ska scientist and a pinch of hydro, you get CHAMPA!

CHAMPA is the full throttle Texas dub you’ve been looking for. Here’s an all pro team made up of members from Dallas’ Shamus McNasty, the 817’s Idol Job, Chicago’s Rude King, even some of the guys from Kulcha Far I’s band. When you put them all together, you get the most energetic rock/reggae party Texas has ever seen.

They keep it moving and grooving all night like a puffin super dragon. Versatility is key, and because CHAMPA was born from so many different musical genres, they can deliver everything from a chilled out roots reggae set, to an "in your face" slam-fest. They’ve even been known to CHAMPA face off.
