Formed: 2002
City: Dallas, TX
Dead City Shakers started in late 2002 as an instrumental surf act. The band's style moved from surf to rockabilly, and with the addition of Tim as lead singer, the band's sound became a mix of psychobilly and punk rock, blended with old school country and rock 'n roll. From late 2004 to late 2005, the band played over 35 shows, including several shows out of town and state.
A force to be reckoned with both on and off stage, Dead City Shakers never fail to deliver a balls-out rock 'n roll assault. So if you like real, raw, no gimmicks rock 'n roll, Dead City Shakers deliver more than enough to satisfy.
