Digger Davis was the state banjo champion of 1999, sponsored by the Bay Area Bluegrass Association (BABA), and has played professionally for fifteen years. The band is a family affair, featuring Digger's wife, Jeannie, along with their son, Jonathon, and daughter, Jamie. Jonathon placed third in the 2005 BABA Texas flat-picking championship in Montgomery.
