After years of struggling as musicians with integrity, Zeke Martino, Rob Shumacher and Ward Richmond came up with a get rich scheme. The plan: sell out as quick as possible and get rich quick. The Doubledowns were then born. Soon, other musicians joined the cause.
The band's debut album, Dirty Slang and Innuendo, was released in 2005 on Crow Records.
