Drowning Pool's 2001 debut release, Sinner, went platinum after six months. Their biggest single to date has been "Bodies" off that album. Unfortunately, 30-year-old lead singer Dave Williams died of heart disease the next year. The band found Jason Jones to take over but he left in 2005. Ryan McCombs, of the Chicago heavy metal band Soil, was named Jones' replacement.
