Sound description: Country folk rock blues
Formed: 2003
City: Fort Worth, TX
Ed Rogers uses the same grit and wit to craft a song that he used to weather his days as a roughneck working on rigs in Corpus Christi Bay. He reaches into his unique bag of spunky guitar licks, spins a tale of life as a young East Texan, and dusts it with his infectious sense of humor.
Raised in a small East Texas town, Ed learned his craft at an early age, and began performing as a sideman while living in the music mecca of Austin. After moving to Fort Worth, he made the leap to the microphone and has been entertaining audiences in and around North Texas for the last ten years.
Ed has shared the stage with such Texas music legends as Steven Fromholz and Shake Russell.
