Eddie Coker was born in Texas and raised on football, chicken-fried steak and opera. Opera? Yes, opera! He cut his operatic teeth in college, and toured extensively for twelve years throughout the country as a professional opera singer; on a whim, he filled in for a colleague in Dallas who was performing opera for children. The kids loved him and Eddie loved them. Matter-of-fact, he loved them so much he said goodbye to the spear and horns and said hello to the world of entertaining and educating children.
Since 1993, this award-winning singer/songwriter has averaged hundreds of concerts a year nationwide for kids and their families, created his own radio show for Disney, recorded lots of songs, married a ballerina, and is the proud Daddy of two beautiful red-headed children.
