Emerald City exploded onto the Dallas music scene in the summer of 1983. The band has performed with such talents as Roberta Flack, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Michael McDonald and many others. They've played at the White House twice for President George W. Bush, and they did the weddings of Emmitt Smith, Mark Cuban and Angie Harmon. Averaging more than 300 performances a year, readers of The Dallas Morning News have voted Emerald City as "Dallas’s Best Band." The Dallas Observer has also voted them best cover band.
