You could say Escort Service is yet another “Dallas Super Group" considering all of the members have been involved in the Dallas music scene for years. Though the band has only been together since December 2004, they have scored key gigs at The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA. and Stubbs Bar-B-Que in Austin, TX.
The music is upbeat and catchy, even a bit raunchy, yet holds an appealing integrity. The band projects an infectious energetic sound that keeps people's feet tapping and their heads humming Escort Service songs days after a show. The band has been compared to Cheap Trick on a three-day bender as well as modern day rockers like Jimmy Eat World and The Foo Fighters. In all reality the band has it own unique sound that pulls from all types of influences and real life situations.
Escort Service is Eric Neal on bass guitar and backing vocals, Rob Lewis on drums, Darin Robinson on lead guitar and singer/songwriter Ben Tapia. Over the past ten years these four musicians have shared the stage with everyone from Matchbox Twenty to Stanley Jordon and have played over 2,000 shows collectively.
