Felons show at Darkside cancelled, but there is a show on 7/28 at The Cavern with Telegraph Canyon. If you haven't heard Fort Worth's Telegraph Canyon, you need to, very fine songwriting, good organ infused rock. Love the lyrics.

this is the Second show at the Doublewide for the Felons. This will be a great show with three good bands, Melba Toast, Somebody's Darling, I believe this is their first Doublewide show and the Felons. Good music, good times, what Friday's were made for. If any Pegasus readers come out, say hi, I'm the old guy in shorts, with a shiner.

Akira Sato Jazz trumpeter Akira Sato, by way of Tokyo, Japan and Vancouver, Canada, is an SMU faculty member and director of The Meadow Jazz Orchestra at SMU. He is also an adjunct faculty member at UNT where he teaches jazz arranging. Sato is also heading into the studio soon with other area musicians and playing at the Scat Jazz Lounge tonight. With all that he's up to, the least you could do is order a Scotch on the rocks and chill to some tunes. (Photo by flickr user arteunporro. More info
