Dallas native Brad Skistimas fronts the music project Five Times August, an idea he started in 2001 at 18 years old. Skistimas has turned Five Times August into a widely popular independent music act for today’s college market. The latest album, Fry Street, features five tunes used on MTV’s newest reality phenomenon Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. With three million viewers tuning into the show every Monday night, Skistimas’ goal is to reach as many of those people as possible.
