Founded 2007, based in Dallas, TX
Bob Guittard started Flat People after leading bands in Austin, then playing in LA, then moving back to Dallas in 2002. There were various forms of the band over the next couple of years until Bob decided to record an album at Salim Nourallah's studio in Dallas. From there, he named the band, added a couple new featured members from time to time, and began playing the new songs with the new lineup.
