Glass Intrepid is an alternative rock band. Originating in north suburban Houston, the core of the band has always been founders Bryan and Reed. Becoming friends in middle school, they convinced their parents to let them start a band in high school, and have been playing ever since. Together with a drummer and guitarist, they laid down Falling, a fifteen-song live album in the auditorium of their high school.
Growing a large fan base in the Houston area, they released No Response, a fourteen-song album recorded at Sugar Hill studios. By the summer of 2003, Glass Intrepid had gone through some considerable changes and lost two of its members, including their lead singer. After a long summer break of rebuilding their sound, Glass Intrepid began playing shows in Austin to get a new start in a new city.
By the beginning of the 2004, Glass Intrepid had recruited a new guitarist to fill in the ranks. Welcoming their good friend Robb to the stage on guitar helped bring new sounds and ideas into the band. Robb's work with other bands in the Houston area helped breathe new life and direction into Glass Intrepid.
