The Hammerknockers are a group of Texas musicians, singers, and songwriters who first came together at Dallas' Sons of Hermann Hall. The Hammer Knockers bring a refreshing twist to the Texas music scene with a clean acoustic-based selection of well written and well performed original songs.
Most of the material is written by Kevin Sullivan, who has a unique way of taking everyday events and putting them to music. His brother, Mike Sullivan, also lends his songwriting talent along with Mike Merritt, with each contribute songs to the band's first, self-titled CD.
