RIYL: Putting some twang in yo thang!!
City: Dallas, TX

The members of Hardcore Troubadours typically avoid attempts to categorize their music. It's Americana. It's Alt.Country. It's...I dunno. At any given performance you're likely to hear songs by critical darlings like Ryan Adams, Paul Westerberg, Old 97's, and CSN&Y. They'll spring a twanged out Johnny Cash chestnut on you, pull off an absolutely riveting B.B. King number, and follow that with one of their fabulous originals. The guys in this band don't even know what they want to be, and you know what? It doesn't matter, because no matter what you call it, their music crosses over the fine line that separates ordinary from interesting, ho hum to oh, hell yeah!
The Hardcore Troubadours have shared the stage with great bands like Olospo, Boys Named Sue, Eastwood, Hard Nights Day, Woodbelly, and Mellowship to name a few. They have performed in Dallas at such premier music venues as Club Dada, Lakewood Bar & Grill, and The Cavern Club, and at private events all around DFW.
With a whisky in one hand and knowing grins on their faces, the Hardcore Troubadours will rock you hard, and smooth you out with a mix of tasty covers and original tunes that are always on target. What you get in the end is what the Troubadours had in mind from the beginning: a whole lot of really well played, interesting music that can take you from toe-tapping to foot stomping, belly rubbing to butt wiggling, in two minutes and thirty seconds flat!
