The Hawkes are a Fort Worth based band that is sure to make you glad that you wore your dancin' shoes. Led by songwriting balladeer Josh Ward, The Hawkes' varied range of original works and classic covers keep the dance floor jumpin'. Josh brings each song to life with his keen and catchy lyrics paired with his rare and genuine vocal flair. On lead guitar, Neal "The Real Deal" Cowan adds spice to the mix, compliments of a gumbo of influences resulting in a blues-twang deluxe that'll leave you licking your lips for more.
Rounding off The Hawkes' line-up are veteran bass man Tracy Neff and percussionist extraordinaire Brandon Wallace, laying down a rock-solid foundation from which The Hawkes take musical flight. With the heart of classic country, the soul of Texas, and the raw energy driven by the music itself, these four cohesive musical elements and over 30 years of combined experience come together to form an entertaining and stirring local shows that will make you understand what it means to "rawke out with your Hawke out"!
