Heather Knox slipped into the Dallas music scene in 1999 after playing one original song at the open mic night at Club Dada in Deep Ellum and soon after secured a semi-finalist position in the annual B.W. Stevenson Memorial Songwriter Competition at Poor David's Pub. That was enough to get her hooked. After four years of a full-time job and minimal performing, enough was not enough; she dropped her day gig and started working on her first record. Heather brings together a sweet mix of alternative rock and indie folk, with a touch of lyrical burning passion. Her debut self-titled album was released in February of 2004.
