Band History
Steven Fischer and Jay Avanzini started Holy Mammoth by writing writing songs on late nights at a dock on Lake Worth in 2008. They began working with producer/musician/engineer Nik Lee in 2009 in an effort to evolve thier project into a full band. They recorded a full length album in 2010, which was never released. After adding the talents of lead guitarist Josh Haar to the creative process, Holy Mammoth has evolved into the sonic force it shall be. With the addition of long-time Fort Worth music veteran Cameron Phillips (ex-Knockout Kings), Holy Mammoth has now begun playing shows in the DFW area, and plans to release 2-4 new songs over the summer via their BandCamp.
