Hope Has Failed Us is a metal band that knows no boundaries. They bring together equal parts of death, black, speed, thrash and hardcore metal. The music itself can be described as heavy and brutal, yet melodic and catchy all at the same time. There are plenty of emotions and topics represented in the band's lyrics to make you want to grab the mic and scream along. Inspired by everything from heartbreak, betrayal, and loss, to their love of horror movies and the undead. Nothing is off limits to HHFU and it shows in the diversity the band brings to the table.
Hope Has Failed Us has had the opportunity to open for national acts Sepultura, Sworn Enemy, Diecast, Suicide Silence, Cattle Decapitation, Misery Index, Burn In Silence, Intronaut, Daath, LoSa, The Esoteric, The Handshake Murders, Facecage, Gammacide, As Blood Runs Black, Rosetta, and Kill the Client.
