What sets Howard Starling and the Grooveyard Band apart from other bands?
Experience. Professionalism. Outstanding musicianship. A repertoire painstakingly selected to be not only challenging and unique, but musically engaging and exciting from start to finish. A collective dedication to excellence; an absolute committment to break free of traditional molds and to reach far beyond the commonplace.
Equally at home in venues large or small, Howard Starling and the Grooveyard Band appeared on the main stages of the 2006 Richardson Wildflower Festival and the 2006 North Texas Rock Rally, and enjoys regular appearances in intimate venues like Obzeet's in Plano and Arlington's Hot Rods & Hoggs.
From the punchy R&B sound of James Brown's "Cold Sweat" to the driving intensity of The Allman Brothers' "Whipping Post," Howard Starling and the Grooveyard Band is certain to please even the most discerning listener.
