Idle Road is a North Texas-based band brought together through traditional Irish music and dance. The band's sound is a unique blend of melodies, harmonies, rhythms and taps especially suited for traditional group and solo Irish dancing. In addition to dance music, Idle Road's repertoire includes finely arranged songs and slow, melodic tunes that make this band ideal for a multitude of performance settings from ceilis, weddings and parties, to pubs and festivals.
