Jamie Foxx grew up in Terrell, TX. He first gained national attention as part of the In Living Color cast. Although he is best known for his comedy and acting, Jamie has begun to gain notoriety for his music as well. Those worlds came together in 2005 when Jamie won an Academy Award for his role as Ray Charles in the movie Ray.
