John has been singing with his family since he was five years old. John's Dad heard John singing Sam Cooke in the back of the car one day and from that point on he had the family go around from church to church singing gospel.
Recently, John Bailey made it through the second round of American Idol during the tryouts in Dallas. New Years Eve 2008, John played at Brooklyn with keyboard player Bobby Sparks.
