Jointmethod came together in Denton, Texas, in February of 2001. Bringing a unique twist to hip-hop, the band has worked to create an ecclectic mix of original background beats, grooves, and jams behind hardnosed lyrics. Since forming, the band has created a firm following in the North Texas area. Recently, the band decided to move to the heart of Dallas in hopes of reaching new crowds.

Is that band name a veiled drug reference? I need more clarification before I become an actual fan per se...

Vans Warped Tour 2009 Warped just began -- Dallas is the fifth stop -- so Bad Religion, NOFX et al will still be fresh. This year, they've got fewer stages and longer sets (40 minutes instead of 30). Get there early for Colorado duo 3OH!3 and Brit punkers Gallows (pictured, credit Jay West). More info
