Founded 2006, based in Denton, TX
Khorina Vega was tossed around as an idea for several years between Aaron Gentry and Tyrone Logan (formerly of McKenzie and the Perfect Ruin) before they finally acted in mid-2005. Chris Mikell (formerly of One Lab) joined a few months later, and Matt Beard (of Water Pistol Mafia) joined in January 2006. They immediately band trying to make their own sound, and started playing shows several months later.
In the band's first year, they played with Dallas favorites like Fallen From the Nest, Egress, Smooth Choppy, Linus, Strongpoint, Exit 380, Upside, Pistol Whippin Ike, Venture, and Redefine. They also played with national acts like Midnight to 12, out of L.A., and The Hanks, and created a mashup with DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill.

Khorina Vega is playing March 14 at the Drink on Fry Street in Denton with Redefine and Edgewater, and March 30 at O'rileys in dallas with FTL (Free the Leaf)
