Lantana

Three beautiful women. Three strong and unique voices. Three undeniable personalities.

Country music trio Lantana has a passion for the music they create and perform. With their debut in-studio album Life Is Good, they are taking their undeniable sound and story to their native Texas and beyond. Life Is Good was released in late 2004 and the title-track reached the Top 10 of the acclaimed Texas Music Chart early 2005.

Lantana has origins not unlike many of the world’s most renowned entertainers – at the church. It all started when Biz Haddock and Lisa Underwood performed at their North Dallas church together as part of the praise and worship team. The ultimate tip-off about their desire for the spotlight occurred as the two were caught hamming it up to the point where a camera operator zeroed in on them during the Easter service, transmitting them to the jumbo-trons, unbeknownst to them. Afterwards, friends and attendees began to tell the girls of their show-stealing debut, which did not go over well with the more central figures. Biz and Lisa had just recently met, but that day the formation of Lantana began. They quickly realized the desire for a third member.

They would not have to look far. Biz and Karol Ann DeLong already shared the same vocal coach, who would aid in bringing the three together. There was an instant connection, and they have been inseparable since. After many late-night rehearsals at Lisa’s house, which the group still does on a weekly basis, Lantana began to perform in their home state of Texas.

From twice singing the national anthem at a Dallas Cowboys football game to playing a full concert on a hot summer night, Lantana is quickly making their name known through touring and countless promotional appearances.

In 2006, Lisa Underwood was replaced by Darlene Richelle, and the band released a new studio CD, Unbridled.
