The band was formed in September 2005 as "Made In Texas" when Weaken The Adversary guitar player Mike Rizzo expressed the desire to do a side-project of cover songs. Todd Visentine from Downward responded and several of Mike's unattached friends joined up. The band has since changed its name to "Maiden Texxas."
