Mariachi Inolvidable was formed by brothers Daniel and Edwardo Cantu, who have been steeped in the mariachi tradition since childhood. For more than three years, Mariachi Inolvidable has performed in such places as Crested Butte, CO, San Antonio, TX, and New York City. They also perform frequently on their home turf of Dallas/Fort Worth.
The ensemble is composed of accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists from various backgrounds, all of whom are students or alumni of the University of North Texas College of Music. The group grew out of UNT's Mariachi Aguilas, the university's first mariachi ensemble, which mentors young mariachi musicians in the DFW area.
