Band History
Melody Memory has established their name regionally after performances in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma and at festivals including The 2010 Texas State Fair and The Mulberry River Jam held deep in the Ozark mountains. They've performed with such legendary artists such as The Wailers and Sierra Leone's Refugee All-Stars.
They are also a part of the local artists community and actively involved in the development of local "at risk" youth, as well as up and coming poets and wordsmiths.
Working with non-profit organizations such as Big Thought, Art.Love.Magic, and Creative Solutions, MELODY MEMORY has put itself in a position to further the artistic growth and development of kids all over D/FW using the MELODY MEMORY curriculum. This curriculum, developed by lead vocalist and teacher Alejandro Perez, is a learning process in which a child is taught the recollection of thoughts with sounds, music, and creativity.
Fresh off their performances on the Chevy Main Stage at the 2010 Texas State Fair, at House of Blues in Dallas and the Granada Theater, MELODY MEMORY are spreading the message of love, positivity, and unity with the release of their full length debut c.d. LOVE MOVEMENT.
