Miss Marcy is a bar singer who plays blues/jazz in the tradition of Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey and the like. She performs around town with a six-piece band. "Sugar Daddy" is her first songwriting effort.

Events do not immediately appear-- we have to give them a quick once over in order to make sure everything links up correctly in our system in terms of the event, maps, etc. That means that when we get a submission like yours on Feb. 3 for an event that is the very next day, it doesn't make it. Our "official" line is that we need events a week in advance. But certainly, give us at least two business days to catch up on event submissions. Thanks for submitting-- Give us another chance with just a little more lead time. Thanks!
