Band History
The Mo Robson Band was formed by Mo Robson and Jake Jackson. After several months of practice and a few shows, Kevin Miller replaced the original drummer. On Labor Day 2000, Kevin Poe took over the position on bass.
Mo is the lead vocalist, songwriter and rhythm guitarist. He also likes to throw in a little harmonica from time to time. Before forming this band he was a drummer in a punk/alternative rock band called “Johnny Law,” based out of Lubbock, TX.
The band has played with acts such as Gary P. Nunn, Mark David Manders, Ed Burleson, Roger Creager, Dub Miller, Cooder Graw, The Hollisters, Eleven Hundred Springs, John Evans, West 84, Speedtrucker, Slick 57, T-Roy Miller, Trainwreck and Jackson Parten.
