mojque came onto the Dallas music scene in mid-2004 and gained quick success with their melodic track, "The Nothing Seed". With influences spanning many genres, mojque seeks to create a unique listening experience through song differentiation, extending beyond the monotonous normalcy. By combining heavy guitar riffs, energizing drums, and aggressive vocals with a more serene, melodic overtone, mojque creates an eclectic alternative metal with a style that promotes broad appeal.
After a nearly two-year hiatus, Mojque is back in the local music scene with a slightly modified lineup featuring two new members: Chris Davis (formerly of 3/4 Ton) on drums, and Jake May (formery of Southern Steel) on bass. Playing the fan favorites of yesteryear combined with growing new originals, mojque is striving to provide you with the best local music in the area.
