Monkeyshyne is a group of talent and personality that uses two lead singers to entertain and energize rock fans in Dallas, Texas and surrounding cities with their impressive two/three part harmony, acoustic rock sound and commanding stage presence. Their strong fan following has increased with each and every appearance over the past several years. Monkeyshyne is constantly touring in the south for maximum exposure in the music market.
Since their formation, this mix of talent and friendship has continually drawn in fans with unforgettable melodies and a powerful and inviting stage performance. Colin Watson (aka Big Colin) has been playing drums for twelve years, and has nearly perfected the art of "drum-stick-jitsu." At every show he entices fans with a display of spinning, throwing and catching sticks without missing a beat. Chris Cloutier brings a strong rock sound to the band with incredible guitar play, stunning vocals and sixteen years of experience - don't be afraid to stare him in the eyes. Oscar Hernandez balances the music with a pop/rock guitar sound, a heavy acoustic background, a stellar voice and his good looks. Between them the result is an explosion of sound and energy.
Monkeyshyne strives to be seen and heard both locally and worldwide - a goal not out of reach considering the strong work ethic that drives them forward.
