In 2003, Mosaic Minds won a battle of the bands put on by Kevin Lewis at Full Force Productions. The prize was 8 hours of recording at his studio, which was used to record the band's first EP, Simple Pleasures. After the 8 free hours, the band used one of the member's home studios to record the rest of the EP.
Mosaic Minds has played at over 45 venues in the D/FW area, as well as Denton, Austin, Houston and Oklahoma City.
