After the break up of his original band, Shawn Hamm went on a mission to find a band that he would be happy with. Shawn searched the local area for musicians that he knew had talent and with whom he could work. He found members in exciting bands, via word of mouth, through friends, and in the local Guitar Center; still, the band has gone through many line-up changes. Most of the current members currently live together in a two bedroom house in Dallas, which helps them constantly develop their music.

Neverset has come a long way since first hitting the scene in Dallas in 2003. The band has formed a strong local fan base and was even nominated for Best New Band in 2004 by local radio station The Buzz.
