The true rock sounds of Neverset started coming together in 2004, but didn’t really take off until this year. With the release of their first, full-length CD, Behind Every Door in 2006 has sold over 12,000 copies of the independent release to date.
NEVERSET resonates a collaboration of sound from the true rock bands from the past 20 years. They maintain rhythms from the 80’s, but manage to incorporate them with a modern flare.
Lead singer Shawn Hamm says, “I don’t think there’s currently any other band like us right now. They say the real rock stars aren’t around anymore, but I disagree. We’re here to party with the fans, have fun and not worry about the cash. We work VERY hard.”
As a band, NEVERSET struggled in the beginning, which only made them stronger and truly embrace their name.
Hamm says, “You should never settle for less than what you deserve. If you dream it, you’ve got to get out there and get it, because no one is going to hand anything to you for free and we have found that out first hand.”
Production began on the band's sophomore album in 2008, and will be produced by Morgan Rose (Sevendust drummer) and Shawn Grove (Sevendust, Collective Soul, etc.).
From 2007-2008, Neverset toured and shared the stage with bands such as: Three Days Grace, Seether, Hinder, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Candlebox, Saliva, Crossfade, Trapt, Cinder Road, Buckcherry, Static X, 10 Years, and Black Light Burns.
