From an early age, Nucleus was exposed to the gritty world of street hip-hop music. At eight years old, his older brother GMan gave him a copy of Boogie Down Productions' By Any Means Necessary and it opened his eyes to the hip-hop world around him. Born to humble beginnings in Mexico City, Nucleus grew up in Dallas. As a youth, Nucleus’ appreciation for the hip-hop art form intensified and a natural progression toward emceeing developed. By 1996, he was freestyling with other emcees and performing at shows, house parties and b-boy jams with DJ Nemeses. In 2000, he joined the Liquidmen and began seriously recording music.
