Born and raised in Greenville, Texas, Perry has been around the North-Texas music scene for more than thirty years. He played with Lou Hampton, The Coasters, Steve Rodriguez, Tutu Jones, Wanda King, Big Charles Young, Matt Snow. He did the Blind Lemmon Jefferson Blues Festival and for two years in a row as well as the Pinetop Blues Festival. Since the Schooners days he jammed with R.L. Griffin, Lucky Peterson and many more. He now hosts his own jam here in Dallas and is a regular with Jackie Don Low and Tony DeCicco.
