Robin Hackett left New York City in July of 2003 and hasn't looked back. Since her arrival in Dallas, she has been performing to standing room only audiences in local venues. She also spent time in the studio with many D/FW musicians recording her album Out of Nowhere.
While in New York, Hackett wrote and recorded her first CD, One Foot Barefoot, in 1999. Her song "Sayin Goodbye" was voted the #1 jazz song on mp3.com at the time. She has opened up for Woodstock legend Richie Havens and Keb Mo, and performed in the JVC Jazz Festival in New York City and at SXSW.
