Annie, Jon and Jeff got together in early 2006 to play a few gigs together in the Dallas area. They quickly realized that they had a unique sound that crossed boundaries of folk, rock, country, jazz and blues. Drummer April Samuels keeps everyone on time and reminds them that high tops are a must in the wardrobe! While Annie writes the majority of the tunes Rocket Girl performs , they also play tunes written by Nick Lowe, Brian Wilson, Smithereens and the occasional ACDC tune! And yes.... Jon and Jeff are related....
