Sacramento Band

Sacramento Band was created by brothers Gelos and Maniz at the end of 1997. The band is a pioneer of Latin rock in Dallas, and is one of just a few bands that blends a Caribbean style with pop rock, salsa, merengue, ska, reggae, wapango, bolero and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

The band has performed at Trees, Club Clearview, Indigo, the Liquid Lounge, the Curtain Club and the Galaxy Club in Deep Ellum, as well as at the Texas Motor Speedway. They have opened for artists such as Jaguares, Lira N' Roll, Plastilina Mosh and Alejandro Marcovich. Additional media appearances include interviews on Dallas radio station 97.1 and Univision 23 local news, and appearances in Xpression magazine and El Sol de Texas.
