Saints and Sinners played their first show at Andy's Bar in Denton in August of 2005. Clubs quickly took an interest and the band began to fill their calendar with show dates all over the DFW area. Things slowed down for a while towards the end of 2006 and early part of 2007. But a few months later, armed with a new drummer (Chris "Janko" Jankowski, formerly of The Anniversary and The Only Children), Saints and Sinners returned and hit the streets hard, building a loyal following both locally and regionally.
Some accomplishments for Saints ands Sinners include placement of their song "Can't Call This House a Home" on ABC's hit TV show Friday Night Lights; a live video recording of "On Being and Believing" received rotation on Comcast Cable's channel MVSpy; and the band has been getting frequent internet radio play, even having a show broadcast live via the Owen/Wilson Indie show. The band was even offered an exclusive publishing deal with Rescue Records.
Saints and Sinners' sudden burst of popularity has garnered the attention of several local record labels and music promoters, enabling the band to land support slots with VH1's "Band Reunited," Dramarama, and twice with national touring act Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.
